Shakespeare's The Tempest depicts one character's Utopia; Prospero, the magician, has absolute control over a beautiful and exotic island. Describe your concept of a Utopia. Would it be a quiet place, a beach, or one large amusement park? There is no limit to what you imagine.

My Utopia would be somewhere no one other than my real friends can find me. This place would be on a exotic beach. There would be a party every night and a never ending supply of Wawa raspberry iced tea. Everyone in my Utopia would be friends with one another and there would be no drama. There would be maids and butlers catering to my every want a desire and everyone would love me. That is what my Utopia would be like.
ReplyDeleteMy perfect Utopia would be on a tropical island with theme parks and resorts. Also my own personal mansion. The only other people on the island would be the upkeepers and workers. The island would be somewhere in the Caribbean sea with long beaches. Also I would have a race track and many running trails throughout the island.
ReplyDeleteMy Utopia would be a place only of my own. It would be a forest with every tree known to man sharing a space in which to grow. Every plant would grow a different fruit of different verities, every thing from banana's to tomatoes. The weather would always go to the 60's but no lower nor higher. I would never see the same place but always know where I was, there would be large plains with the grass dancing with the flowers in the never ending wind but there would be mountains higher then ever thought of, higher then the clouds that could be climbed with ease. The animals would be friendly but still stay afar for they are unaware of who I was. There would be any animal you could ever want or have in the forest and wondering the plains to seek more food. The night would be filled with the moon and all the stars lighting up the night and I would fall asleep knowing ill wake up with no worries. Then the next day will be nothing like the next with new things to do, new things to see, new things to be. Never knowing what lies among the next hill. That is my Utopia, and thats not even the half of it.

ReplyDeleteWhen I think of a Utopia, I think of an island with miles of beaches. The weather would be in the 70s-90s all year. This island has a lot of exotic, rare animals. It is a mainly quiet place, with not a lot of crime. It has volcanoes in one spot of the island, and mainly forests on the other side. Houses on the island would be affordable. It would have a variety of different cultures. That would be my perfect Utopia.

ReplyDeleteMy Utopia would be a quiet island away from any isands quiet and only my friends and family on it just relaxing. It would be a vacation paradise and exotic island. The places we would be living in is nicely completed tree houses with nice furniture. The events would be sports and gaming like football or video games. There would be nice exotic birds and nice friendly animals that lived in the tree houses with us. There would be no threats at all except people probally going crazy but thats it. Thats what my utopia would be like in my imagenation.
A utopia by definition is a perfect society. A perfect soceity would be one that is self reliant. A place that makes no pollution or waste. A civilization that cannot be threatened by war and does not cause war. There would be no social classes or labeling people. The place would have to be an island, separated from the rest of society so it can't become contaminated. If only such a place is possible, but that is only a dream.

ReplyDeleteMy Utopia would be an island that is divided up into different sections. There would be a section that is just sports. It would be a big baseball stadium where I could play baseball all I want. Another section would be a long beach with nobody else on it but me and whoever else I want. Then there would be a place to just relax where nobody could talk. The last section is a jungle where a lot of rare and exotic animals live.

ReplyDeleteMy utopia would be relaxing yet fun. I would love for my family and friends to be there. Somewhere with a temperature always in the 70s. There would be a white beach with dolphins in the water. My house would have a very open floor plan with glass windows everywhere. It would have lots of animals, such as dogs and zebras. I would have a constant buffet for my friends and family, that always had baked ziti since that's my favorite food. We could swim everyday then take a yoga class before bed.
My utopia would be my place. It would have an unlimited acsess to all my friends. I would have a pristine beach with clear light blue water. Music would be a constant thing playing in the background. My utopia would also have the most fun water slide. There would also be a nap time for as long as you want!
ReplyDeleteMy Utopia would be a palace in another country in the Renaissance minus all the disease. Where the weather goes through all the seasons but it never gets higher the 70 and it never gets lower than 0 degrease. Where I was the king and I could make laws, and have loyal subjects that would all bow to me. My family would all be there helping me rule my vast kingdom each of them would own their own piece of land. In my Utopia no one is rude or disrespectful to me, and if they are they get beheaded! Another thing my Utopia would have is a completely pollution free ocean, it would be crystal clear. My ocean would be the most beautiful thing in the world. However as much as I wish it were real my Utopia is only in my dreams.
ReplyDeleteMy utopia would be at a beach.You could never get sunburn. Only my friends would be there.You wouldn't have to pay for anything. No one would ever have to work or go to school. In my utopia, no one would ever get sick or die. My utopia would be the perfect place.
ReplyDeleteWhen I think of a Utopia, I think of a beautiful, large island. The weather would be in the 60s-70s with clouds filling the sky,in the 70s-80s with the sun shining down, or in winter, in the 10s-20s with fairly 10-15 inches of snow every week so we dont run out, but the snow doesn't overload. We would all live in tree houses with electricity & have a wide assortment of things to do, like swimming, playing sports, video games, as well as just sit around & look at the clouds. There would be a volcano (not dormant, but can't erupt so people can look at the lava), Tropical trees with special trees that grow mostly what you ask, NO BUGS, & rare animals, along with the common ones so you dont miss them. There would probably be no evil on the island except for the occational crazy man & hungry animal, but that's how life is sometimes. That would be life on my Utopia.

ReplyDeleteMy concept of a Utopia would have to be the beach. It would be me and my family/friends living in a beach house right on the beach. The beach in my opinion is a very peaceful fun place to be, in which I would like to spend every day and moment on! It would be a lightly populated beach with free roam and relaxing silence. I would swim in the ocean, listen to the waves crashing on the shore, and hearing the seagulls move through the sand in search for food. With a short distance to the house you wouldn’t even have to be on the beach to see it and/or be able to enjoy it. That would be the perfect Utopia place for me.
My Utopia would be a small town, not beaches or woods of emptyness.It would be a place of little comotion that i would not have to deal with.It would be a quit,quaint,relaxing, andSelf-sufficient place.I would never stand to be in a place that is perfect.There would be little crime and fears in the Utopia.It would would always be spring and fall weather the way i like it.
ReplyDeleteMy concept of Utopia would be a peaceful woodland society. It would be a hunting and gathering based existence, and no violence would occur. The climate would be controllable, and I would prefer the foliage to appear as it would in autumn. The sylvan beauty of this Utopia would bring happiness to all it's people, and they would never want for sustenance. Death would only occur from old age, seeing as violence would be prohibited and anything dangerous avoided. It could be potentially imperfect, but then perfect societies seem a fevered dream in this turbulent life. This society would come as close as possible to unattainable perfection. At least to me.

ReplyDeleteTo me, a Utopia would be a place where I could go and no one but my friends could see. Nothing but the warm, white sand at our feet. Surrounded by tall, green trees, and the aqua blue water as our view. There would be colorful flowers wherever I went, plus a larger than life amount of tasty fruit, and other foods needed to survive of course. All types of wonderous animals would roam the land, but wouldn't harm a human for its food. And last but not least, beautiful houses, built in the trees, for all of my friends, and me. My Utopia would be perfect in every way possible, because that's how I'd dream of my Utopia to be.
My utopia would be somewhere in Hawaii, far away from here. I would have my own resort on the beach, living it up. This would be a place, where no one could hurt you. If someone were to try to ruin your day they would be ejected from the resort. In this dream place you can always be happy and enjoy life. Everyone around you was so nice and the employees would fulfill your every command. In this Utopia you wouldn’t have to worry about criminals. It was a place where you had no worries and no regrets. The only thing you have to do is be happy, have fun, and enjoy life while you can.

Everyone Im friends with can come and hangout with everyone. There would be one section of the island where a paintball/airsoft field would be made . There would be a outside stage for band to play at. All the time this island would be only a high of 80 all the time
ReplyDeleteMy utopia would be a quiet place. Somewhere you could relax and not have to worry about the problems in society. Considering there wouldn't be any, however in my utopia, I'd want to have fun too. I would like there to be no pollution, and the water at the beaches would always be nice and clear. The weather would never be too hott, or too cold. It'd be the perfect weather all the time, all year round.
ReplyDeleteMy concept I get from Utopia, it a tropical island out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The water is cystal clear, with dolphins leaping out and into the air. I imagine A small beach area at the base of the island, but then a huge steep cliff reaching the sky. The is home to a thousand trees and exotic plants and animals. I picture colorful birds soaring through the air, and hearing the calls of monkeys in the trees. The sun is always shining down on the forest, and the animals live happily.
